Unique Integration of Models
Community Desk is the first organization within the region to apply an integrated variation of theory-based intervention mapping with adaptable participatory approaches.
CD recognizes the long-standing validity and reliability of behaviour change theories and their importance as the foundation for intervention development. In practice, CD integrates with community-driven participatory models to ensure interventions are accepted and wholly respond to the needs of beneficiaries.
Volunteerism
CDI implements a unique volunteerism structure, with the aim of enhancing organizational sustainability, building capacity, and fostering community ownership.
Volunteerism has been the core of CD’s interventions; working significantly with community stakeholders, young people, and policy-makers to amplify change.
Our volunteer model creates opportunities for stakeholders’ capacity to be built while collaborating meaningfully with us across all areas of implementation.
Team Expertise
